Dr. Mark Robinson
Founder
I am an independent scholar, Associate Tutor in Science Diplomacy at SOAS, University of London, and Visiting Lecturer at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. I have worked in several global ‘Big Science’ projects, and my research examines what global governance can learn from their collaborations, with published work featured in International Affairs, Global Policy, and the Science Diplomacy Review.
I lead a growing international initiative to connect world leaders, tech executives, and policy experts around a shared imperative: guiding AI development with ethical foresight and global accountability. Together with core supporters, I advocate for the creation of an International AI Agency—under the auspices of the United Nations—to establish a binding governance framework that includes all major powers and meaningfully engages Big Tech. The formation of a new intergovernmental organization to address these emerging complexities is inevitable; come and join us..

YOU
[One thousand and fifty so far registered and more joining every day]
You are passionate about the possibilities of AI, but skeptical that Big Tech will ever truly self-regulate. Like me, you appreciate the power these tools offer—and many of you are even shaping their future through your own work. However, you are uneasy that, while there are countless national and regional initiatives to regulate AI, there is no over-arching international body to co-ordinate these efforts.
You have been waiting for a website like this to emerge where you can register your support and suggest areas where you can contribute to the cause.
